london-based creative duo rob and nick carter have realized a set of images capturing explosions of color, entitled 'paint pigment photograph series'.
the playful visualizations are an example of the studio's interest in fusing color, light, form and the discipline of photography,
articulating this with fleecy bursts of color, ignited into a billow via daytime fireworks. the pieces, with a backdrop of a bright
blue sky, appear suspended and native to their surroundings, mimicking the distinctive contours of a cloud anticipating a flooding
maelstrom of technicolor rain.
